Openai is hosting a thing tonight "Introduction to OpenAI's Head of Recruiting", only 11,000 people joining. 😳 I think I'll wind up de-prioritizing this one. I was mainly hoping to hear if they were going to stop requiring everyone to move in person to the valley.

I had to escalate to multiple supervisors before they finally figured something out. Its exhausting to interact with your team when it takes 1.25 hours each month to get this straightened out. Getting to a supervisor (They only authorized people) takes 30 minutes.

Don't use @Verizon I was offered a 10/line ($100) loyalty discount in October 2024, I've had to call monthly to get that discount. Your team claims they finally applied it starting next month but somehow couldn't credit my account for the overcharged $60 this month.

Tried different deep research. openai's chatgpt nerfing of deep research makes the product very poor in comparison to gemini's free offering. I suspect the full version was probably still on par with gemini if not better but I can't know for a month.

Every counter argument is met with disbelief and "show me someone who thinks that way". They can't see they've made a toxic environment for anyone to have a differing belief. So this is me, puzzled and unwilling to wage a war or words, but wow, these were supposed to be adults.

I'm watching professional adults on a society message board be so insular that they can't see someone who disagrees with them isn't "unethical" and that there is no chance that anyone disagrees with them in their mind. Also statewide decisions they disagree with are unethical.
