The wholesome core of the character of Superman remains in IV even though movies of the era started shifting to a grittier and more cynical tone. Superman was no longer as cool as he was when the first two came out. It also didn't help that the producers were crooks and it didn't have the budget and backing it needed. So yes the effects are terrible. All of that said, there is a great and epic Superman movie embedded within the flaws. Christopher Reeve is great. And Margot Kidder returns and delivers a very sweet and excellent performance. When you take away the cheese factor, both this and Superman III are underrated.

@TimothyDowling Agree. Test Track is fun but not a must-ride for me. Radiator Springs Racers is definitely a must-ride. They will get a lot more mileage having the Racers at Magic Kingdom.
