One of the hardest things for many believers is not praying about a burden, but truly releasing it. We speak to God about the matter, yet still carry its full weight in our minds.
We keep turning it over, worrying through it, and trying to control what only God can handle. This is why Scripture gives such a tender invitation: cast all your care upon Him.
To hand something over to God is an act of trust. It means saying, “Lord, this is too heavy for me to carry alone, and I will not live as though everything depends on my strength.”
That kind of surrender is not weakness. It is wisdom. It acknowledges that God’s hands are steadier than ours.
Many burdens lose peace not because God is absent, but because we keep taking back what we said we surrendered. Yet the Father cares deeply for His children. He is not irritated by your need. He is not untouched by your distress.
He invites you to place the weight on Him because He knows your heart was never built to carry endless anxiety.
Handing over to God may not change everything immediately, but it changes the atmosphere within. The heart begins to breathe again.
Fear loosens its grip. Rest slowly returns. Peace comes upon you as you wait for the manifestation of God’s glory.
Questions
What burden have you spoken to God about but not truly released?
In what area are you still trying to control what belongs to God?
What would it look like to genuinely cast that care on Him today?
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7
Prayer
Lord, I hand over every burden that has been weighing on my heart. Teach me to release what I cannot control and to await my testimony. Amen and Amen 🙏

US has Mr Beast, Logan Paul and Speed
But they also have multiple young entrepreneurs all over multiple industries that shape their nation.
For a third world country we laugh too much
And we have mediocre entertainers (Olodo) who are inspiring a whole new generation to be like them while we do not have the young Mark Zuckerbergs being inspired and inspiring others.
The attack is not on Peller, it’s on the whole entertainment content creation space; Peller, Carter Efe, Sabinus, Brain jota etc
These guys inspire the olodo uprising
The algorithm pushes them, rewards them and makes it look like that’s the dream of every Nigerian young person because there’s no hope in school.
Entertainment has never built a nation and Nigeria won’t be the first
If you don’t understand this, you might just be an Olodo yourself
MrBeast didn't go to college. Logan Paul dropped out of school. David Dobrik didn't even attend college.
Today, we celebrate these people and rate them highly. But when it comes to our own Peller, that's when some of you start calling him an uneducated fellow or an "olodo" content creator.
Let me be very honest: many of you are simply jealous of that boy. The truth is that some people with PhDs cannot even achieve a fraction of what he has accomplished.
Success is not determined solely by formal education. Talent, hard work, consistency, and creativity also matter.
That rubbish mentality needs to stop.
@Omojuwa Valid point
But it scares me for the younger generation.
Let’s say my nieces and nephews may not know what Peller does is mediocre until it’s too late and they want to be like him
And now we have a problem
“The time when Ycee was reigning he didn’t blame another man but now that his life is bitter he’s now blaming Peller. You wey go school wetin you use your money do? How many car you get? Anytime they want to trend they chase clout.”
— Portable comes for Ycee.
YCEE 100% correct
The fact that we don’t see that the algorithm rewards this is alarming
@DavidHundeyin has been saying this for a long time
For a 3rd world country we laugh too much.
Nobody is rewarding tech or scientific research but they reward the olodos
So even the guys who could be positively productive will be forced to become Olodo to chase the Olodo bag
This is not just about Peller, I’m sure YCEE has nothing against him but the fact that the internet is rewarding stupidity should concern you
If it doesn’t, well that’s your business
"Nigerian society is no longer celebrating academic excellence. It’s not even Yahoo culture anymore, now we have a 'Peller culture.' This 'Olodo' uprising we are witnessing is terrible. It feels like we are trying so hard to accommodate ignorance so people won’t feel bad, and now they seem to be the majority”
Rapper Ycee

🚨 BREAKING: Real Madrid believe there is a REAL POSSIBILITY that Vini Jr leaves the club THIS summer.
They believe that there's a club that could make a move for him at ANY moment, and they believe Vini Jr has too much appreciation for Real Madrid to leave for free in 2027, so he would ACCEPT a transfer THIS summer. @Ramon_AlvarezMM
@Mr_MikeOG It takes sacrifice to achieve that kind of respect
If Messi wants to steal a goal Martinez scores I don’t think he’ll have as much respect
Messi plays for the team
Ronaldo plays for himself
That’s the difference
There is something is football that I’ve noticed
Jose Mourinho called it football heritage
While Germany and Ivory Coast were playing I saw it play out again
Ivory Coast played better than Germany for most of the game but I just got this feeling that because Germany were more prestigious on the world stage they were going to end up winning the game
It’s the same reason it took Arsenal this long to win a major trophy
They lost the heritage and getting it back ain’t no easy task
Keep your head up guys, you gave Germany a tough one
