@K3nB3n Quranism is actually quite progressive, to be fair, it’s the hadiths (written 200+ years later) that contain most of the controversial beliefs and practices followed in Islam. For example, the Quran only instructs women to cover their chests with hijabs. It’s very interesting 🤷🏼‍♂️

@HusseinJos28588 @AbuHafsah1 The Quran still refers to the Goddess Allat, but she is now one of the daughters of Allah- al-Lat, al-Uzza, and Manat. The creator God and the Goddess had different names in Arabian Polytheism, but I believe they merged over time. They both translate to the God and the Goddess.

@HusseinJos28588 @AbuHafsah1 His name comes from “Allat,” meaning “the God.” This term was used to refer to the creator God (and Goddess) from the Arabian polytheistic pantheon, but it eventually morphed into a term for God in general. All monotheistic religions from that region developed from polytheism.

@faustianwigger @prochoicenun I have transgender friends, they are very happy people, they don’t live their lives in constant misery, especially when they’re allowed to express themselves without being subjected to hatred. If my daughter ever came out to me, I would do everything in my power to be supportive.

Social norms also change over time, people shift their behaviours constantly to adhere to the moral values and attitudes of the group or community they’re a part of.
