THIS WAS NOT A COLLAB BROTHER. THIS WAS STRAIGHT UP A SECRET EPISODE OF CYBERPUNK EDGERUNNERS SET IN THE WUTHERING WAVES UNIVERSE. THIS IS NOT HOW COLLABS ARE USUALLY DONE. I'VE NEVER PLAYED A COLLAB THIS GOOD BEFORE. I COULDN'T STOP CRYING BECAUSE THE CHARACTERS WERE SO TRUE TO THE SOURCE MATERIAL, NOT TO MENTION THE MUSIC AND THE PRESENTATION. LUCY'S TRAUMA MANIFESTED IN THE FORM OF SMASHER, AND WE FINALLY SAW HER COMING TO TERMS WITH DAVID AND REBECCA'S DEATH. WE HELPED HER OVERCOME THAT SURVIVOR'S GUILT. HER TRAUMA WAS EATING HER UP INSIDE, AND WE FINALLY SET HER FREE. DAVID AND REBECCA WANTED HER TO LIVE HAPPILY, WHICH IS WHY THEY DIDN'T HESITATE GOING ON THAT MISSION TO SAVE HER. DAVID DID NOT WANT LUCY TO BLAME HERSELF FOR WHAT HAPPENED. I CRIED SO MUCH. STILL CRYING LIKE SHIT. THANK YOU FOR WATCHING THIS STREAM EVERYONE. GOOD JOB KURO. YOU NAILED THIS STORY.
Really long tweet about #VCTEMEA sorry
I'm really disappointed about the issues in our region so far, as people could have already seen from my previous reply
A lot of the issues we're dealing with now have been ongoing since the beginning of franchising. In the first year or two, we raised concerns and were told to “be patient.” But now it’s year three, and nothing seems to be improving.
Hardware/Monitor issues – I’ll be honest: the gear we’re playing on could be a lot better. We’ve been giving feedback on the monitors for ages, and I honestly don’t even know what the reasoning is anymore—because every time we bring it up, we’re given a different answer.
The PCs aren’t optimized, settings change constantly, and most tech pauses are due to the game stuttering so badly. IT checks it and if they see it or not - we just keep playing. No fixes.
This week, we were told we’d be playing online on stage with 30 ping (I get 7 at home) to combat performance issues and tech pauses. But that’s not going to solve anything if the core issue—the hardware isn’t fixed. Everyone, LAN or online, is still experiencing stutters.
It’s honestly shocking to see every other region with superior PCs and monitors, while in EMEA we’re stuck with setups from League of Legends. And when we bring up performance issues, the answer is:
“But league of legends doesn't have this problem”
Crowd – They’ve removed the crowd for Wednesday games. Riot has their reasons, but we weren’t even told ahead of time. We found out the same day as fans did.
I feel bad for rookies making their tier 1 debut with no crowd—it takes away a huge part of the experience. And it’s worse for fans who traveled hoping to support their favorite players live.
Issues remain unsolved, and more keep getting added. I'm tired of hearing "we'll look into it/we'll fix it soon"
We’ve raised these concerns every split, every year, hoping for progress. I truly hope that now with everyone aware of these issues real improvements can finally happen. I'm happy you guys are making the Player Council where we will be more heard and hopefully the issues are going to be fixed, but for now i have to tweet this ❤️
Hey everyone! I’m sure some of you have probably noticed that I haven’t been streaming at all recently.
For those closest to me, this won’t come as a surprise—stepping away from streaming is something I’ve been thinking about for years. Truthfully, streaming was never my dream or end goal. That’s not to say it wasn’t a great opportunity (and yeah, it is an easy job in a lot of ways), but before I ever hit “go live,” I was studying with plans to head to med school. I put that on the back burner to give streaming a real shot.
Over time, though, I started to feel a growing sense of resentment toward it.
So I’ve made the decision to take an indefinite break from streaming. It’s what’s best for me right now—and honestly, I haven’t felt this happy and at peace in years.
Part of this is due to some recent health complications, and part of it is just shifting priorities—I’ve taken on new commitments outside of streaming, including competing in Game Changers.
Thank you all for the support up to this point. Stay happy, stay healthy, and take care of yourselves.
@mikafabs line up for transpo then line up for the ticket then line up for the venue entrance then line up for merch then line up for payment to then line up for claiming your purchase 🤣
Again, I get to lift up this trophy 🏆 I’m so proud that I can be in the continuing Valorant history.
Thank you for your support.
PACIFIC ON TOP.
