@dialGG +1. this is also the no. 1 reason i tell strategists to try in-house even for a couple of years. become so much better understanding how a business actually makes money, makes decisions and just operates beyond the superficial layer you get access to from agency pov
@animalologist i have been reflecting on this for a number of years and though i too have pride in my adopted (british) identity as my defining one: i can't help but think people like us are also at risk of becoming collateral damage of globalisation > nationalisation through being deracinated
@levelsio i think of this exactly opposite to you. even in a world of abundant variety of options i would want to 'plan' and choosing between them! that's fun! i even plan holidays w my mates where we pool together money, i sort it all + they only out where we are going at the airport
@wanyeburkett interesting study - what else are you planning to try? a friend got a custom fit mouthguard but seems as horrible to sleep in as the cpap. also can you link the magnetic nose ring please?
@dialGG i've been trying the alts i've seen ppl suggest for the last few weeks - readwise is prob best but costs more than most actual journalism / writing pay for which is absurd. may have to try to make something myself at this rate
@pitdesi@akshay__mehra@AkshatGoenka go to brigadiers by the same people - and have the bbq butter chicken wings and thank me. one of the most exquisite bites your mouth will ever have.
@internetpythia this is actually what it used to be like until they started shortening eg doyle dane bernbach > ddb. batten, barton, durstine & osborn > bbdo. j walter thompson > jwt. foote, cone & belding > fcb. young & rubicam > y&r
@meaniebabies in further gummo news i finally saw it in a cinema for the first time the other day as @Metrograph is showing it atm. huge improvement on having only seen it on a shitty laptop screen before haha
