@4nt1p4tt3rn I’ve wanted to buy a house for a long time. Currently I’m glad I never did here specifically. We will be moving to another lower cost of living state soon and I’ll be able to take my foot off the career gas. Making up for lost investment time was more important than owning.

I made all the mistakes, like you, until I was in my 30's and realized I had nothing, not even an emergency fund to buy a tire. Hated feeling like a slave at work so changed things, especially after the divorce to the first wife.
