@kodygriff16@RedsInFour We need outfielders and he's cheap. We will be calling up Rodriguez this year, that means we can get rid of Benson or someone else
@Smutphelps01@char_cliff It's not white privilege. It's called Marte can't field. His defense is not good. They just can't throw him in center when he can't field right. They have been playing him in center field in the minors, so they have probably had this planned for a while.
@zack_cozart He should have had a few days off already. They said they needed to do better at managing him and not letting him play every day and then it's a third of the way through the season and he's played every day. Give him a getaway day off followed by an off day.
@DanClarkSports It took longer than normal. Maybe there was an issue and they couldn't see it to change it. I'm not sure what happened. It's been on the money. Like other umpire calls, if they don't see anything to overturn it, it stays.
@WHO_DEY_JAY@DEALSON2B@RedsDaily4 I don't give 2 shits what he did last year. I care what he's doing now. Last year be wasn't as bad as everyone thinks. You're bitching about a small 2 month sample size are the same one trying to DFA some players that struggling at the plate this season over that same 2 month.
@JimmyFlorida337@RedsDaily4 MLB has a lot more operating expense than the NFL. They have to keep the field up for 81 home games compared to 8 or 9 NFL games. 17 weeks vs. 6 months. They travel a lot more, minor leagues & international training complexes, NFL isn't scouting central America.
@RedlegnationN@Nati_Sports We are 5 back in the best division in baseball. No central team has a losing record. We are 24-24. Cubs are 29-19. Add in the 3 games we should have won and the Cubs walked us off and we are 27 and 21 and the Cubs are 26-22. That and the Pirates games turned our season around.
@shank_you04@RedsDaily4 We're the worst team in the division? Everyone in the division is over .500. We took the best team in the division, & all of baseball, to their limit & got walked off in 3 games or we'd have one of the best records in baseball. that doesn't say rebuild. We need a few pieces
@Michael96793157@RedsDaily4 Probably because he's got a gold glove and he's hitting over .200 recently, which is as good as anyone else on the team. He's making solid contact.
@RealOG_Steve@RedsDaily4 He got us one of the best records in the game in April. We were a pitch or 2 from beating the Cubs 3-1 in the series. We lost to Pittsburgh 1-0. We had 3 bad losses and 3 tough losses.
@Jeremy_Zilber@RedsDaily4 Think about it for a second. Maybe it's why they do it in the first place. It's not necessarily about getting them to last the entire season. It's about being able to have them come back next year & not miss a year & a half due to surgery. Kids are having TJ in jr high these days
@Nati_Sports Why does anyone follow you? You just post dumb shit constantly. Why are they "unserious"? A week ago they were one of the 3 best records in baseball. They are still top 8. They have lost 3 1 run games and that includes 2 walk offs to the best/hottest team in baseball.
@Nati_Sports@Cam_Kroeger29 They finished pretty well last year and have a top six MLB payroll. 10 games back right now. I can't see them having a full-blown fire sale, but they may get rid of a few free agents. It never hurts to ask but it's going to take some decent prospects, especially this early.
@Cam_Kroeger29@Nati_Sports Do you know how trades work? They have to want to trade. The trade partner has to want to treat. They both have to have pieces that want another want. They both to have a value that they name equal. Chapman is a really good reliever, so his price is going to be very very high.
@Mpoe80@Nati_Sports He's a 75 pitch guy. We just saw him. He didn't run out of gas at the end. He walked 2. He was missing right on the edges on all of those pitches. Then he got a sinker down. He pitched 2 more scoreless after that. He did that against the 3rd best offense in baseball.
