Long ChatGPT conversations become information graveyards.
So I built Outlinesave.
Turn ChatGPT & Gemini chats into searchable, annotated, offline knowledge pages.
Twin mom. Indie developer. Building in public.
@aarondfrancis Haha, that's pretty awkward. That was definitely on me, I misunderstood.I am still quite curious why, when AI translates the meaning of my spoken expressions, it still sounds so distinctly like AI.
@divvsaxena Removing the “AI voice” is surprisingly hard, especially in academic writing and product copy. AI can make everything sound polished, but somehow less human. I’d love a tool that learns from what I delete, not just what I publish.
@HeyAliux AI made it possible for me to build software on my own. But after months of building, I’ve realized that creating a product and building a business are two very different challenges.
@yongfook As a developer, I can ship updates to my custom Skills pretty quickly. But users often stay several versions behind. AI has lowered the cost of building and switching tools, not necessarily the cost of changing habits.
@AndrewCurran_ I saw a video of an AI pretending to be a human financial advisor. Someone challenged it to recite an incredibly difficult text and solve complex math problems. It did both instantly, then calmly insisted it was human.
@aarondfrancis To me, the best part of being an indie founder is going from following someone else’s rules to creating your own. That’s where the real fun begins.
@tibo_maker AI made building products faster, but somehow my to-do list keeps growing.
As a solo founder, coding is no longer the hardest part. Testing, fixing bugs, supporting users, and marketing take more energy than I expected.
Does anyone else feel this?
Major update!
Built OutlineSave to solve messy AI chats. After iterations, it now supports directory indexing & search across 4 major AI platforms for 400+ prompt threads!
Would love to hear your thoughts or feedback!

@drygfriend@launch_llama Thank you so much for your feedback. I was entirely focused on packing in keywords because my rankings for some of them are quite high, and during the cold-start phase, I just wanted to cover as broad a keyword pool as possible.
I built search into my own Chrome extension this week.
Even with a two-level outline, finding one answer in a 300+ turn ChatGPT chat was painful.
Now I can search questions and AI headings, then jump to the right spot.
It’s free in OutlineSave.
@jun_song AI makes writing code easier. What’s still hard is showing up week after week to fix bugs, adapt to platform changes, and support real users.
Launching a product is one thing. Maintaining it is another.
@thsottiaux 300+ turns in a ChatGPT chat. Looking for one answer?
I just added free outline search to OutlineSave.
Search questions and AI headings in a two-level outline, then jump to a match.

@launch_llama ChatGPT's official chat list recently disappeared TOC I updated my plugin OutlineSave to support jumping to the full ChatGPT chat list again. This way, you don't have to keep scrolling through extra-long conversations. The TOC can also quickly locate what the AI answered.
