When I think of all the social networks that were the centre of my world for a time, before changing completely (Buzznet when it was a photoblog, DailyBooth before it died, etc.) it makes me sad that this one could stop filling that role for people who grew with it.

Twitter legitimately changed my life. I’m autistic, and shy, and shit at networking, but this place helped me pursue a career in comedy writing thanks to people I’d never otherwise have met. Even after this place implodes, come find me for gags. I’ll be sat in a corner, somewhere
