We all want Soto back but if he leaves I would pivot to pitching. Add Burnes and add to the bullpen and win with great pitching. Offensively Soto will be irreplaceable. Judge,Dominguez,?. Rice,Peraza,Volpe,Chisholm and Wells. The kid from Japan has not been declared yet.

@BobbyMilone29 As you know by now it's the IL for DJ. I want Grisham gone next year. Start using our young players in back up roles to give them experience . Durbin, Peraza, Rice and Rumfield come to mind as players who can make the team next year if we sign Soto.

As great as Soto is once again we have learned as Judge goes so go the Yankees. AJ has cooled off and now we stink. Honorable mention to the worst closer in baseball.

Lots of talk about the Yankees who are coming off the IL. Rizzo for Rice a no brainer. Dominguez for Grisham should be a no brainer. Keeping Cabrera to me is a must. The tough one is Berti for Torres?

Clay Holmes has ruined what could have been a great summer of baseball. We are 73-52 and Holmesless has blown 10 saves? That's 83-52 with him doing his job. My god do I miss Mo. I even miss Chapman and I never imagined saying that! I say hold tryouts for Jomboy, Milone etc.

I mean listen it's odd that Dominguez double clutched and hesitated but why are people not mentioning this bullpen just freaking failing once again? Dominguez there isn't the reason this is an L. The reasons are that Clay Holmes is a garbage closer, and the offense did nothing.
