A while ago I posted about Samsung’s object eraser on photos, and it actually works pretty well for images.

But this time I tried something much harder —

removing a large moving object that takes up

nearly 45% of the frame 🙀

in a 1080x1920 video. 🙀

The object (a guy holding a dog) was moving the whole time, and the background is quite detailed.

After removal, only the woman is left dancing, and the background looks surprisingly clean.🥳🥳

I honestly didn’t expect it to turn out this well. I’d say this is currently one of the best results you can get for video object removal, especially with big moving subjects in high resolution.

We had a login bug that prevented people from buying.

This raises a question: There are so many competing products, why would anyone choose a product that even has login issues?

I knew from the beginning that creating an AI tool for video object removal wouldn't be easy.

The difficulty lies in the fact that the processing effect varies depending on the environment of the specified object in the video.

For example, when removing the person from a video, whether the person is moving, whether their background is also moving, the contrast between the person and the background, and whether the camera is shaky will all affect the final processing result.

It's impossible to satisfy all users, making it much more difficult than removing objects from images.

Fortunately, we have an excellent team and customers who are willing to tolerate and help us iterate the product, which is invaluable and an honor for me!
