@Love_the_sun_2 We moved from the city to Schererville and love it. Taxes lower, car insurance seriously half of what we were paying in Chicago with better coverage and the same company. Plus if 2A matters, much better. No kids, but hear Lake Central schools are great.
@Papahuate17 As someone who is in the same general area, yes, for the most part it is still one of the 'safer' areas of the city. As with everywhere, no place is totally immune.
@alliumtricoccum @GayDispatcher Problem is, is that the helicopter can follow these yahoos all day, but with everyone's restrictive pursuit policies, no one wants to join in.
@ilovedonrickles People, it's not a fear tactic. These come out every year depending on the weather. It's hot and dry with a breeze. Joe Shmoe burning leaves for spring cleanup can start a grass fire that will grow quickly. It's more a 'hey dumba**' don't burn today.
@BstntoTN@ilovedonrickles It's not that it STARTS fires. High heat, low humidity and a breeze, coupled with dry brown grass can make a small fire very big. Doesn't take much. Somebidy burning yard waste can start it.
