Really proud of our @radixdlt community today! So many people helped out with the public test, dedicated hours of their time, spun up more than 150 nodes, jumped in to answer questions.

And not just today, we ran multiple private tests in the evenings last week and many more in the weeks before.

Truly a community effort and I am sure that is what Dan would have wished for.

🚀 Hyperscale public test announcement!

We will run a public Hyperscale test on Saturday, Jan 31, 15:00 UTC.

Goal: 500,000 transactions per second.

There will be multiple dashboards to observe, but if you have decent technical skills, you can also participate! ⤵️

🕒 Schedule:
• Onboarding: 13:00 UTC
• Test start: 15:00 UTC
• Expected duration: ~2 hours

(Once the test starts, joining late or receiving technical help will no longer be possible. Late arrivals can observe, so be on time!)

We will run a test-run on Friday (12:00–17:00 UTC) to help participants prepare.

Purpose:
• download files
• sync nodes
• test setup
• ask questions
(No significant swaps will be executed during this session).

What I like the most, maybe, is that I haven't had to change anything to the network. Dan's work works.

All my changes are to the way we send the transactions to Hyperscale.

Hyperscale is back! 269k TPS during an internal test. A new record!

Rewriting the test scripts to multi-threading, to make use of fewer but more powerful nodes sending transactions, seems to be a good approach on AWS.

This is also the first time we moved beyond 40 shards, which opens the road to 500k TPS 🫡

The move from Hetzner to AWS was unexpected and led to some delays; however, I made significant progress in the last week.

Next up is a new private test to confirm this set up with a larger group of nodes 🦾

Users can move eXRD from Ethereum directly into native XRD on @radixdlt, without any centralised intermediary.
This establishes a direct, permissionless path between the two networks.

What this means in practical terms:
• simpler onboarding from Ethereum
• improved liquidity flow into the Radix ecosystem
• no custodial service in the middle
• a faster, safer way for users to access native assets

This is a meaningful upgrade for accessibility and long-term ecosystem growth.
