In 2022 the Tories increased employer NI to 15 percent and there was no media meltdown. In 2023 they reduced it to 13.8 percent.

Labour have put it back up to 15 percent.

Media are deliberately exaggerating its impact on business.

I’ve not heard one media outlet highlight the fact that Labour are setting aside £11.8 billion for the infected blood scandal and £1.8 billion for the Horizon/PO scandal.

The Tories set aside nothing and that in itself is a scandal.
