A very late analysis, I’m sorry. I was held back by personal reasons and exams haha. But here it is, my analysis on the heartbreaking Malaysia-Bahrain game, where the West Asian side left it late to break Malaysian hearts. 💔

No Maguire, no Hall, no Trent & no Wharton is where I'm lost for answers, they just seem such obvious picks for depth & different dynamics.
Hall - different ball at feet LB to NOR, technical first / over-lapper to work with Gordon/Rashford
Trent - game breaking FB + just better alternative to any other RB bar James
Maguire - fit, good, great season, monster in both boxes, leadership, played in a final, 'character' & still GOOD
Wharton - completely different to mainoo / rice, splits lines, can accelerate everything through the thirds & will be even better pushed up as a 8 vs low blocks when we struggle to break them through outside
Until we resolve and make right the naturalized player scandal that's kneecapped our trust in sporting institutions, Malaysia will go nowhere in football.
Just last week there were rumours of Peter Cklamovski and Nafuzi Zain taking charge of separate teams at the FIFA ASEAN Cup and ASEAN Hyundai Cup.
Today, both have announced their departures.
Football, eh?
I still believe Cristiano Ronaldo is an important part of the Portugal squad but no longer as the main man. His influence in the dressing room is immense but I dont think he’s at the level anymore where he should be playing every game
Never in my life would I see the day a player named Muthusamy (Moutoussamy) will be playing in the World Cup against Portugal. 😭 Another Tamil origin player after Nishan Vellupilay, Tamil on topz laaaa
Thierry Henry is going for a generational meme-run, the likes we’ve never seen before, during this World Cup.
He’s the best there will ever be. We’re witnessing greatness.
Ada 4 player dan ex player Selangor FC tengah main World Cup wakil Jordan. Ali Olwan, Abu Al Nadi, Yazan ‘terajang referee’ Al Arab, Noor Al Rawabdeh.

🇭🇺 25-year-old Hungarian forward Péter Bányai has confirmed he was born in Kuala Lumpur. Under FIFA eligibility rules, he is eligible to represent Malaysia.
He had 10 goals and 7 assists in the Hungarian second division last season.
Thank you @frfaizz for info.
Lots of people are criticising RTM's World Cup coverage, especially the pre-match, half-time and post-match discussions.
That's fair.
But considering there was a genuine possibility not long ago that Malaysians wouldn't get free access to the World Cup at all, I'm choosing to be grateful.
The analysis can always improve. Watching the matches for free is the bigger win.
When Nishan Velupillay takes the field for Australia against Turkey, he’ll become the first player of Malaysian heritage to appear at a World Cup.
It also means Malaysia's connection to every World Cup since 1986 continues.
Time for a new thread. 🧵
