In 2024 we did 230 rentals with an average rental of $291 excluding deliveries and extra fees.
In 2025 we did 199 rentals but our average rental went up to $417 excluding delivery and any other fees.
2025 we sold our units that weren’t making any money and brought in units that did, we also capped our weekends so we didn’t kill ourselves.
I believe 2026 we will have an even higher per rental and more rentals than we’ve ever had.
Bring in the 2026 Bounce House season!
I’m trying something new today, I scraped a list of 1000 businesses in my area , uploaded the docs to Claude, he organized and ranked them and walked me through how to safely do a cold email campaign.
First 20 emails have been sent.
We will watch and see if anything generates from this.
Our goal is to book. Some corporate summer parties so we specifically scraped for business emails.
Look what we have here, multi tenant accounts. It’s not quite wrapped up yet but now anybody can download the app, type in their business name, number, address and use the delivery management app.
This was built for my bounce house business but really any home service company making several stops in the day can use it.
It’s a way to create routes for your drivers (each driver has a pin to login) and then functions to map where they are going, complete their service and send a Google review text.
So far no expensive subscriptions, the text send from the drivers phone.
We are up to 21 units being rented on the 4th! 15 separate reservations. I’ve got three delivery vehicles and 4 workers plus my wife and I. We could squeeze a couple more in there I think.
It’s not getting them delivered that’s hard, it’s getting them picked up.
We will end up delivering most the night before and picking up a big chick the day after.
I saw this post from @StumpGuyTy and then today we get hit up for a “partnership event” wanting a free bounce house. I try not to get worked up, but it bugs me how many people want free stuff. We get about 50 request a year, it just so happens. We’re doing one for an old employee and Family We go to church with on that same day.
We’ve done plenty of events and nothing ever comes of them.
@ToddLlewellyn This might be crazy but are you friends with any other plumbing companies? If so could you call them and see if they have a guy to spare?
@FrontierBDesign My oldest still won’t ride a bike, he’s 7. My 4 year rode a balance bike for a year and the. After about two days he had it figured out. Night and day difference between them.
Last June was pretty pitiful, we did $9439 in rental sales not including delivery. Our average was $377 per rental.
This year we are already at $8974 and it’s the second day of June. Our per rental is $427. Our average ticket has gone up $50 and we should at least double what we did last June.
@mhp_guy I’ve had the idea for four years, but never wanted to come across as a mooch. And then I saw your post about the guy in Utah and said what do I have to lose!
Well I reached out to a local news reporter who has a huge following in our area and offered him a free rental no strings attached, but if he wanted to make a post about it I’d be thrilled.
I took piano lessons from his mom for years and his brother was one of my best friends growing up.
We will see what he says!
