Worship >>>> production
Point. Blank. Period.
Production is dope and cool don’t get me wrong but I never wanna elevate that above pursing the presence of God.
You can have both. Just needs to be balanced.
Like some of y’all are literally upset at churches for putting on a family friendly fall activity. Like if that’s the case none of y’all should be at a pumpkin patch or hayride. Or let your kids jump in bounce houses.
Churches provide a safe and fun harvest/hallelujah night for kids and families with NOTHING demonic taking place and some of y’all acting like they are serving the devil 🥴
And yes i understand the church should be shining a light 365 days a year, but what a perfect day to have a bunch of non-believers show up to the church and get invited to join you for service and hear more about Jesus.
The new elevation worship Christmas album is not giving Christmas at all 🥴 they tried. Joy was the only good song and even then parts of it were corny.
@emmyruthie@fireflymagnolia Having a child-free wedding does not tell a lot about the character of the bride. - signed a now wife and mother who had a child-free wedding.
And even as a parent now, I don’t get upset if my kids aren’t invited to a wedding. 🤷🏻♀️
I cannot the only parent that actually looks forward to a child-free wedding. I look at it as a date night with my hubby. Plus, my toddlers wouldn’t sit still and I’d have to chase after them. I’d be more stressed than relaxed/having fun.
We also had a child-free wedding, with the exception of our nieces/nephews who were in the wedding party & I had a friend who brought her baby who was a few months old and I didn’t mind that but I didn’t want a bunch of kids running wild.
