I plan to incorporate nutrition in my role as a health care professional is to promote healthy eating habits and letting them know that eating healthy starts with moderation, rather than filling up with your whole plate. @beh353#beh353
@EmmaDArpinoRD Thank you for sharing you experience and knowledge about nutrition. I didn’t know if you feel addicted to a certain food a way to get rid of that is to challenge yourself by eating it everyday. @beh353#beh353
I would also recommend this article to children or even the parents because it is also credible but it tells you how children go to what is appealing to them. @beh353#beh353
As working with young children, parents wants to be informed about their child food intake. I would recommend this article to a parent because not only is it credible, but it is easy to read and inform parents. @beh353#beh353
Today marks the start of #CACFPWeek. The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is an FNS program that provides reimbursements for nutritious foods at child and adult care centers and programs.

@MoracaCassandra@beh353 Hello Cassandra,
I agree with this article helping Alzheimer’s patients with the food they eat. It tells them a nutritious healthy food that is good for their body and provide the necessary amount of nutrients. @beh353#beh353
This relates to one of the readings by not emphasizing diets but most importantly eating nutritional foods that provides the essentials to your body. @beh353#beh353
@Donna_Gee99@beh353 Hello Donna,
I found it interesting in the article it mentioned for ultra-processed diet it was more appealing to the participants because they could eat faster. @beh353#beh353
Understanding the major differences between unprocessed and ultra-processed foods will help me understand what correlates or be a factor in possible weight gain. By knowing that, I can help the patient pick the option that will help them manage their weight. @beh353#beh353
This relates to the factors of obesity we learned from this weeks lecture. It shows how obesity comes from a wide range of factors, not just what people always assume that it is what is put into your mouth. It is more than that. @beh353#beh353
@AkermanRochelle@beh353 Hello Rochelle,
I also found it interesting on how a consequence of obesity can lead to gynecological problems such as infertility. @beh353#beh353
I didn’t know that lack of sleep can be a causing factor of obesity. Moving forward I’ll incorporate this personally to not always assume what is going on. Rather ask a medical doctor or someone that is an expert on the topic because sometimes you might be wrong. @beh353#beh353
This article relates to this weeks lecture on the barriers people face which may impose them from healthy eating habits. One barrier may be not knowing what food choice to choose. I think this short article may help improve it. @beh353#beh353

@Donna_Gee99@beh353 Hey Donna,
I relate to that so much. I also commute to school, so finding something quick and easy is very convenient. @beh353#beh353
One barrier that I face is unhealthy eating from family. Especially since I commute to get to school and not knowing how to prepare the food that is considered to be healthy. @beh353#beh353
@tiana667@beh353 Hello Tiana!
I find that really interesting. I know I’m one of the people that believed that differences in the color of eggs one of them were healthy and the other was not as good to consume. @beh353#beh353
This article relates to this weeks lecture on how some vitamins can benefit health issues. In the vitamins D2 and D3 it is found that help serious health issues in the body. @beh353#beh353
New research from the University of Surrey and the University of Brighton has found significant differences between vitamin D2 and D3 supplements.

I agree with you! It also can help someone that’s is dealing with a health issue, it can help them make a healthful change in their diet. @beh353#beh353
This article is so important & it provides great info on the benefits of eating fruit. It also includes 2 tables that make it easier to see how much fruit (by age) you should be eating daily. Fruits are an easy & quick option to help maintain a healthy diet! @beh353#beh353
I would share this with a patient that wants to change their eating lifestyle because it gives the factual information of the types of foods they should eat and the nutrients that they are going to intake when they consume it. @beh353#beh353
