USD/CAD near 1.43 puts the currency move back on my radar. The widening U.S.–Canada rate gap has been working against the loonie.
For Canadian investors holding unhedged U.S. assets, that’s helped returns in CAD. Adding fresh money to U.S. stocks now costs more, though.
A useful reminder to check both the stock price and the exchange rate before buying.
$TSLA heads into the week with momentum after Friday’s 4.65% gain to $370.59 following the delivery update.
I’m watching $369 as the near-term pivot. Holding above it and clearing Friday’s $374.60 high would strengthen the setup for $383, then $390. A sustained move through that zone would bring $400 into focus.
Below $360, I’d reassess the bullish setup.
Encouraging price action, with earnings due October 21 after the close. Margins and forward guidance will help show how much of the delivery momentum translates into earnings.

"If all you ever did was buy high-quality stocks at the 200-week moving average, you would beat the S&P 500 by a large margin over time. The problem is, few human beings have that kind of discipline"
