China supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Belarus in the face of pressure from Ukraine and Russia – Xi Jinping.
During a meeting with Alexander Lukashenko in Beijing, the Chinese leader stated that China would continue to support the independence and sovereignty of Belarus.
Xi Jinping also emphasized that relations between the two countries were at an "all-time high."
Lukashenko's visit to China took place against the backdrop of reports regarding increased pressure from Russia on Minsk, aimed at securing Belarus's more active involvement in the war against Ukraine.
My daughter's friend in grad school, upon being asked by a member of her dissertation committee why she didn't include a Marxist perspective. "I grew up in the Soviet Union. I don't practice recreational Marxism."
Putin's regime crushes every sect of Christianity it cannot control by using Russian Orthodoxy as a political weapon.
@LoomerUnleashed correspondent Andrew Moore @MooreIAm explained how the Kremlin runs the same play with Islam, isolating violent jihadists and keeping them ready to deploy against Russia's enemies whenever Putin feels like it.
The blueprint is Chechnya, where Putin installed warlord Ramzan Kadyrov, who is given free rein to do whatever he wants as long as he pledges his allegiance to Putin.
Putin is perfectly comfortable unleashing violent jihadis on his enemies and using them to mass murder Christians and Jews in Ukraine as long as it advances his power.
So bailing out the IRGC and funding their rearmenment isn't enough. Apparently Trump also wants to arm the Syrian jihadists who have already massacred two minority groups in their own country, and send them into a country with a large Christian population.
I’m told by reliable sources that Trump offered Syrian self elected president Ahmad al‑Sharaa advanced weapons & ammo if Syria intervened directly in Lebanon to eliminate Hezbollah; the talks collapsed when Sharaa conditioned the military intervention to the return of the Golan Heights + Shebaa Farms and an end to Israeli support for the Druze in Suweida, which Israel rejected.
Keep in mind that Meloni used to be a strong supporter of Trump. His erratic behavior and tendency to lash out at allies are alienating his and America's closest partners.
Idiots making those arguments don't realize the calculus has changed. For the first time, rather than absorb russian strikes, Ukraine is the one who will strike back. Moscow needs to carefully consider the consequences next time they want to bomb a children's hospital or church
And for those suffering from very selective amnesia, let me remind you once again that Russia has been carrying out regular and systematic mass missile and drone strikes against Ukraine — including power plants and heating infrastructure, hospitals, schools, apartment buildings, supermarkets, as well as historical landmarks and national heritage sites — since 4 a.m. on February 24, the very first day of its full-scale invasion.
At that point Ukraine could not even dream of striking any targets inside Russia, let alone Moscow, and remained practically powerless to do so for many months, if not years, of the war.
So you can go to hell with your “now Russia will strike back.”
🚨SMH...when you even lose France...France will block any attempt to remove UN Security Council sanctions on Iran unless future nuclear negotiations satisfy French requirements and address concerns over Tehran’s missile program and regional proxy groups....
@AnnaOdesitka Keep in mind her listeners have also been in the russian propaganda induced coma. It will take some time for them to begin to understand the lies they have believed for years
Many are not understanding the significance.
Iran had a major problem: its economic decline and this economic decline was exactly what has fuelled anti-government sentiment and the general openness to the idea of regime change.
Now Iran resumes its oil and gas exports while also having a source of revenue that is providing them with liquidity that they haven’t had for years.
Irans economy will bounce back; but it won’t grow significantly - it will however be enough to pacify the general population and neutralise the anti-government sentiments which is the single most important problem that Iran has faced.
Also, if anyone believes that the recent years of the IRGC spreading across the ME were bad - the IRGC with a Cashflow will be much worse.
With the most recent strikes, Moscow is fast approaching the point where Ukraine will be able to respond with disproportional force to any russia provocation
This is an unfamiliar feeling for russia but they had been to get used to it and watch their words and actions carefully
