Most people think tax planning means finding deductions at tax time.
But for those in their 40's and 50's some of the biggest tax decisions you'll make are happening right now:
How much goes pre-tax vs. Roth.
Which assets go in which accounts.
When you realize gains or harvest losses.
How you give to charity.
And how you eventually turn your portfolio into retirement income.
The interesting part is that these decisions aren't independent.
A decision that saves you $10k in taxes today can create a much bigger tax problem 10–20 years from now.
That's why I think about tax planning as a multi-decade problem, not a tax-return problem.

When MJ talks about winning & leadership has a price, he’s talking about sacrificing a part of who you are for all that your team can become.
