@Foodkick Hi! Getting an error message: "Unable to place order contact customer service." No answer when I try calling said customer service. Thoughts?
@_tessr Why restrict it to WFH? Everyone knows it’s not *real work* unless your blue switches (you prefer brown, or clear, but wield blue as a sonic weapon) can be heard in every corner of the office. 😎
@stefpix Oh dear. If you’re going to form a photographer-huddle, show some respect and do it pantsless 🙃

@MarkDFink Hiya! 👋 Stumbled on your portfolio looking for shots of the Hudson Highlands; couldn’t believe when I saw the collection of scenes @ Vassar, my alma mater :) Super impressive! Have you written anything on the gear / post proc. workflow behind those 360° panos? Just curious 📸
Real talk though, the work out of Adobe’s Sensei lab has been pretty damn incredible if you’re into e.g. perceptual cognition, neurophenomenology, and other fun things like that :)

@JuliaNunes SO. PUMPED.
1) I have an extra ticket if you’d like to help find it a nice home?
2) Any idea what time your set starts? Assuming the 7:15 time listed is for openers, but don’t want to take any chances 🙃
@elibelly Second law of tech-company thermodynamics: all confluence docs trend inevitably towards obselence.
(Ok, I don’t 100% mean that; but I do think inline docs I can easily grep through >> proprietary formats — except for RFCs / design docs where the intent is to solicit feedback) 🙃
Some awesome improvements here, esp. around general tooling and DX. Feels like RN is moving past the pain points of its pubescent years (huge shout out to @ReactNativeComm) 🎉📱🖥
React Native 0.60 is out and it's powered by React Native CLI v2.0 🚀. It comes with *a lot of* improvements. One of which is the documentation, which I highly encourage you to read 🤓

@MatthewGerstman 1) The @babel/preset-typescript vs `tsc` shift: the community’s converged on the former as transpiler, but still causes confusion for newcomers.
2) Ditto @jetpacmonkey re: advanced types — some brilliant patterns there, but underused IRL b/c many devs don’t even know they exist.

“If you liked it, then you should have put a cache on it”
“Here’s my number (or not), call Promise<Maybe>”
@MatthewGerstman@tylrtrmbl @JesseGomezBrain Omg link to said publication please. These are the questions neuroscience was destined to tackle; my boy ramón y cajal would be proud.
@lindawatkins@gatsbyjs Hiya! Unfortunately wasn't able to make it to the talks (but thanks for the offer / being flexible!). The receptionist @ 166 6th Ave says I just missed you all — any chance people are still out and about for happy hour?
@yuribroze Oh just wait — it only gets better. No other show out now is able to cram in as much commentary (ridicule?) on Western philosophy / religion / etc. in such a delightful medium. You'll enjoy Chidi. :)
