real. courage only gets realised AFTER you have done something. you only feel safer and start trusting yourself more when you risk it all and lose it and get back on your feet faster than last time
Whenever I catch myself not reading things completely, I remember anti-intellectualism is on the rise, literacy is in decline, and I don’t want to be a VICTIM!
there is something intoxicating about a person who is deeply occupied with something they are passionate about. the most attractive people are usually the hardest to reach. not because they are playing games. not because they think they’re better than everyone else. but because their mind is already occupied by something bigger than attention. they are building something. mastering something. obsessed with something. and that obsession gives them a kind of energy you cannot fake. people can feel when someone’s entire life revolves around being noticed. it makes them predictable, too available, too easy to read. but the people who stay in your mind for years are different. they have depth. mystery. a private world you cannot fully access. they disappear into their craft instead of disappearing into validation. they don’t wait around for texts all day because they are too busy becoming someone they are proud of. and the craziest part? the less they need attention, the more magnetic they become. because “nothing is more alluring than someone who has somewhere else to be, even if that place is internal.”
High intelligence often comes with heightened pattern recognition. You start noticing social masks, forced conversations, performative friendships, hidden motives, emotional immaturity, and energy that feels draining instead of nourishing. Many highly intelligent people also have more active nervous systems, deeper inner worlds, and lower tolerance for superficial stimulation, so solitude can feel safer than constantly shrinking themselves to fit environments that don't feel aligned.
PLEASEEEE date a man who believes in romance and a provider mindset. Like holding doors open for you, buying you flowers, writing you love letters, courting you, treating you gently, planning surprises for you, and honouring your heart in every way he can... YOU DESERVE ALL THAT

One thing nobody tells you about adulthood is how fun it is to become your own person. One day you randomly start liking jazz, olive green, expensive dark chocolate, documentaries about volcanoes, weird lamps, sparkling water, books about loneliness in Tokyo, silver jewelry and quiet cafés. Your personality keeps unfolding forever if you let it.
if you heavily intellectualize and overly analyze your feelings, somatic therapy is usually very very helpful bc we tend to not be connected to our bodies at all
life indeed rewards bravery, audacity and discipline. time and time again, i can always tell if something is going to work out for me based on how much i’m willing to go against the grain.
I could ask him to drive me 3 hours for an ice cream and he’d say ‘alright, ready when you are’. Wouldn’t even bat an eyelid.
Stop spending your life with men who barely tolerate you.
This is really beautifully put. There’s something very kind about not letting someone lose themselves for you even when you know they would. Not taking advantage of how far someone is willing to go for you when they have that kind of devotion towards you.
I fell in love with myself, not blindly cos most times people throw that advice around lightly.
I started creating boundaries that prioritized me in friendships, in relationships and it caused my respect to come back. This, in return made me start loving the person I was becoming, and made me stop trying to seek validation
People pleasing was never the problem, thinking you’ll end up alone if they don’t like you was. Now I enjoy my company, now i’m no more afraid of being alone and I now choose my people by myself, just like that my relationship with people changed. It’s a very beautiful feeling
