Rep. Roy on the kill switch: "Do you really want to put that kind of data collection mandated inside every car? At what point is there just literally no privacy at all anywhere?
A lot of Americans died to protect our Fourth Amendment rights so that we don't have government looking at our stuff."
@TjFlores5@FirstNameJ0hn@ZelinaVegaWWE thank you! I mean, we're not talking journalism like covering politics or the weather or even the NFL. It's pro wrestling. It wouldn't have killed him to wait until today and provide some more in-depth "journalism" on the releases --- but then he wouldn't have broken it first
Hard to say what the worst thing in modern wrestling is but the prevalence of spots where someone has to do something completely non-sensical like Rusev here is right up there. Take two minutes and contrive a reason for him to dive face first off the ladder ffs
@TopRopeNation nah, actually this is more of what we need --- shoot feel comments, more story, more actual attitude. And WCW felt nothing like this in 1998
Maven Huffman said WWE is "on the wrong track" in a new YouTube video, pointing to the reduction of house shows as the root cause of declining match quality.
He cited CM Punk vs. Jey Uso on Saturday Night's Main Event: "Two guys at the top of their games, and they put a match out that both guys probably wasn't happy with. They looked sluggish. Their timing was off. They lacked any aggression, and they looked like they were still in the feeling out process."
"When you work somebody three, maybe four times in one week, you get to figure out what works, what doesn't work. And you're not feeling this out on television."
Maven also said every WWE match now "looks like a dance" and cited advice from Test: "If you mess up a spot, don't go back for it. All that is, is telling your audience, 'Hey, I messed up, but I'm going to fix it right now.'"
On the cost of being a fan: "There's no reason people should have to spend 50, 60, $100 a month strictly to professional wrestling. You're going to lose fans."
On Raw's ad breaks: "Every time I could get into something, I was getting sold DoorDash."

.@RepLuna: "I think it's really disgusting how this institution protects itself...we just had a Member of Congress literally sexually harass a woman that then lit herself on fire and you all protected him! You guys all protected him! My own side, your side."
@WWE@undertaker I remember suggesting this as an option way back on some message boards in the mid-2000s and got laughed off the board ... took a while, but here we are
@PimaSheriff I’m delighted that so many people have pointed out what I came here to say…
Securing the crime scene is the sheriff’s job, not the media’s. If you’re a news crew assigned to sit at a crime scene for 10 hrs, you need to eat. We can’t help if your deputies let the pizza guy in.
