In all seriousness, though, that's actually what I loved about #ScaryMovie6… NO PC BULL****! Didn't cater to just one demographic; EVERYONE and EVERYTHING is open-seasoned and made fun of!

@deathbydialogue Concur.

SM1–2 worked b/c they had a foundation. Sure, they were packed w/ parodies & gags, but underneath all of it was a coherent, genuinely funny story holding everything together. 3–6 feels like sketchy references stitched together.

SM6 is still passable, just less cohesive.

@FreddyInSpace Was a bit disappointed by the size of my crowd—maybe 4-6 total incl. my GF and I—who seemed either bored or didn’t get the references and puns.

I also would have liked to see them move away from Ghostface killer. Plenty of terrific horror films for them to spoof and emulate.

It’s now past 11:00 PM as I’m typing this... and the movie STILL hasn’t started.

At this point, I’m getting more runtime from the pre-show than the actual movie. This is just downright unreasonable! 🍿
