I am never going to use @budget again.

Despite a PHENOMENAL agent on pickup, I was 11 min late to drop-off. Those 11 min costing more than the 1-day rental itself. Insane. It would have been cheaper for them fill the tank at their criminal rates. Email to cust svc = no empathy.

@allisoneals @humaninteresthq Reiterating @humaninteresthq's negligence literally cost me $$$ - they can't replace lost earnings, but I did request a gift card as an "I'm sorry." I should file a complaint with the @SECGov 'cause I'm not the only person they erred with, I'm sure.

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

Amazingly disappointed/now wary of @humaninteresthq and now stand to lose hundreds of dollars (or more) due to their admitted error handling a disbursement check. Other than mailing me a new check, there's "nothing they can do" to make things right. No longer can recommend them.

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

@allisoneals @humaninteresthq It's horrifying. If I bought the fund I intended to yesterday, I would have gained $400+ (not to mention my receiving bank had a $250 reward for bringing in these $$$). It's ludicrous. All I'm getting is "oops, our bad." Can't recommend them to any clients at this point!

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

@InstacartHelp I have done so.

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

I need to share this: @Instacart @InstacartHelp is a scam. I'm being charged a subscription but none of my accounts have a subscription on it - and they won't tell me what account is using my credit card so I can resolve it. You're charging MY credit card! @Exposeinstacart

@BOENYC @ZohranKMamdani @JuliaCarmel__ @NYCVotes Not receiving a reply, I called @BOENYC - and was pleasantly surprised to get a human - immediately! And she was wonderfully nice and shared that she's raise this to the folks that needed to know!

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

Hey @BOENYC! A returning NYer here. Your dropdown doesn't include the District of Columbia (not even as #DC or Washington, DC or District of Columbia). With the registration ending soon, I picked "Washington" and hope you don't toss it! @zohrankmamdani @JuliaCarmel__ @NYCVotes

@SmithSteiner @dcpublicschools @councilofdc @DCSBOE @OSSEDC @AARP Given how many seniors attend any ANC or civic assoc. meeting I've ever been, and who testify at the Council, they are WELL represented. It's WHY we keep having the same fights over housing, bike lanes, over "process" and "outreach." We call them NIMBYs bc they're so legion.

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

@SmithSteiner @dcpublicschools @councilofdc @DCSBOE @OSSEDC Yet my choice (biking) is severely impacted by the choices of others, especially on an unsafe road with speeding drivers. If seniors are your concern, @AARP supports road diets - here's their own fact sheet: https://t.co/4uqpgxyDzS

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

@AllisterSBOE @DCSBOE An honor Boardmember Chang!

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

@its_Xopher @Amtrak I don’t even bother: hotspot all the way.

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

@VinceGrayWard7 @councilofdc And they really CARED about people. Disagree with their policies all you like - that's fair. But @VinceGrayWard7 had a memory like a steel trap; he basically memorized the city budget each year, poured over every document until the wee hours, and didn't stop working for #dc.

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

With all the #dc news about @VinceGrayWard7 (a former boss of mine) and #marionbarry, I wanted to share that I worked with both of them at the @councilofdc and truly, I've never met anyone as intelligent as these former mayors. Like, really, the smartest people I ever met.

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

@maustermuhle @OnMaggiesFarm Can confirm.

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

@Jess_inthewild I do it to chase stars, eclipses, and comets…so, yeah?

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

@GeoRebekah Yes, it’s absolutely worth it. Had LASIK about…10 years ago? And it’s been amazing - still have perfect vision.

[Jesse B Rauch @JesseBinDC]

@oldenoughtosay Every time I take it out, I pump it up. So, usually, every other day I’m doing a top up?
