@pdmcleod Something terrible happened and it is very clear to Jews that it had to do with hatred against us. I wouldn't describe it as Aviva did but I can't fathom attacking her as a liar and accusing her of harming Jews. You are behaving disgustingly to traumatized and targeted people.
Wow it's amazing how these non-Jewish journalists know that it's other Jews who Jews should consider harmful to us and not the guy with the gun who wrote "Influential Zionists... KILL THEM ALL"
Strange that putting out a wildly manipulative reading of the Montreal shooter's manifesto like this (he was almost certainly targeting the PornHub headquarters) in order to instill fear in the Jewish community is not seen as harmful to Canada's Jewish communities.
@blamontz oh lol I see. I have no problem with anyone having their names attached to the words they speak in public (outside of instances like confidential sources and such). Anonymous discourse has become a curse. Everyone should be accountable for what they are putting out there.
Watch closely new video showing the U.N. reaction: as courageous former hostage Ilana Gritzewsky confronts October 7th denier Reem al-Salem—by recounting the horrific abuse she suffered from Hamas—the U.N. rapporteur on violence against women sits there stone-faced. No empathy.
Hello @boyntonwords is there a reason why in your report on the killer's manifesto you omitted the fact that he put "influential Zionists" on his list of "Class A" targets for "liquidation"?
Don't your Jewish readers deserve to know this?

@boyntonwords You're asking me to do the job you were supposed to do? No problem, it's all there in the manifesto you misrepresented. He blamed Western society/capitalism/"the Judaeo-bourgeois class" for his sorry incel lot. He wanted to kill pornographers, CEOs and Zionists, not women.
*CEOs
*Pornographers
*"Influential Zionists"
*Bankers
*Pickup-Up Artists
*Politicians
*Plastic surgeons
*other "elites" he considered part of the "Judaeo-bourgeois class"
He was a Communist extremist against "degeneracy", similar in worldview to PFLP, FARC, Maoists, etc.
3/3
The reporting about Montreal's incel shooter misled the public into thinking this killer was a Minassian-style woman-hater looking to kill as many women as possible. Not true.
1/x
His ideology is anti-capitalist and antizionist.
He writes hatefully about women (and trans people), but his "KILL THEM ALL" list of targets is not about gender.
He wanted to "liquidate" the following people:
2/x
By his own description Jews are a defining feature of his worldview. He wrote "I sometimes refer to the western ruling class itself as the Judaeo-bourgeois class" in his manifesto advocating the murder of this group.
It's bizarre that you choose to misrepresent this.
In this lengthy list of what he calls "Class A" targets, you and so many others feel you must hyper-fixate on the one brief reference to "Zionists," as if though it should be taken as the paramountly defining feature of his worldview. That's your brain on perpetual Israel myopia
@Bratt_world@matt_lamers@CBCNews@CdnPressNews He was almost certainly there to kill people at Aylo, the owner of Pornhub.
And three people are dead because of his actions: a Muslim, a Jew, and himself.
Yesterday was a uniquely shameful day for Canadian media, including @CBCNews and @CdnPressNews, who decided that Jews don't deserve to know who is trying to kill them.
Oh what a relief, just a "handful of small passages" about Zionism or Jews, nothing big.
Except that one of those small passages is a public call for "influential Zionists" to be "liquidated" as "Class A targets" for death.
This journalist would gaslight us to death.
There's hardly anything about Zionism or Jews in the Montreal shooter's manifesto except a handful of small passages, one of which is actually *dispelling* what might be called "anti-Semitism." But for the perpetually Israel-deranged (both pro & con) this is all they'll focus on
@JesseBrown I read the manifesto and while it does contain a section on Zionist Jews, it didn't stand out as a driver. It's literally a footnote. The guy was clearly driven by mistrust of women and used "capitalism"
as the cause.
