GITEX was a unique experience not gon lie. I and @Eboseremee were pushed out of our comforts zones to go out there, meet new people and network (this was really uncomfortable but we did it sha😂).
Definitely looking forward to the next edition🤎
On the 20th of July 2025 I graduated from Adeleke University. On this note I’d like to reintroduce myself.
My name is Ikemefuna Jesse. I am a Dance Artiste, Creative, and a Software Engineer https://t.co/tEqes17tZo Computer Science, second class (Honours) upper division🤲🏿
July 2024 this project was merely an idea…seemed too big…too impossible…but here it is. A mobile application(written with Flutter) that enables Nigerian dance artistes have access to jobs and fair payments.😌
Let’s get something straight: A 9-5 is not a death sentence.
I know people who’ve built incredible lives, bought houses, ‘benzes’, and raised happy families—all on the back of their 9-5 jobs.
We need to stop projecting our limited realities onto others. People are buying houses, starting families, and living well with their 9-5s. Some of my ex-colleagues, who now ride ‘benzes’ with their spouses, laugh when they hear people downplay the value of a structured career.
Yes, not everyone in a 9-5 will buy a Benz. But let’s be real, not every entrepreneur will either.
9 out of 10 entrepreneurs fail. That’s the truth. For every successful entrepreneur you see, dozens are drowning in debt, struggling with sleepless nights, or closing shop quietly.
This isn’t about one path being better than the other. It’s about finding what works for YOU.
Pick a struggle, work HARD, work SMART, and PRAY. That’s the formula.
Don’t let anyone pressure you into crime, poor decisions, or chasing a life that isn’t sustainable for you. Success looks different for everyone, and both paths require effort, discipline, and vision.
