Please stop calling him incompetent. Purposefully ending programs to protect civilians isn’t incompetence, it’s an intent to commit war crimes. Hegseth is getting the outcomes he wanted.
New reporting from ProPublica just exposed that Pete Hegseth polled top military commanders on cutting the program that protects civilians from military strikes.
Every single one wanted to keep the program, but Hegseth gutted it anyway for being too “woke.”
What followed was a U.S. strike in Yemen that a Pentagon review confirmed killed 153 civilians.
On day one of Trump’s unauthorized war in Iran, another strike hit an Iranian primary school and killed up to 168 people. Central Command itself warned that these cuts would mean “increased risk of target misidentification,” but Hegseth ignored them.
These are the consequences of having the greatest military in the world in the hands of the most incompetent SecDef in American history.

I’m honored to be named Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa.
At a moment of enormous change across the region, I’ll work to strengthen America’s relationships with Israel and our Gulf allies, expand regional peace, advance American diplomacy, and ensure our foreign policy is grounded in strength, security, and reality. I’m ready to get to work.

Darline Graham: Government run health care…. bad idea after bad idea. Annie Andrews backs it all. I have a different background. My parents worked long, hard hours. If that were sick, they had to get up and go to work. My mother passed away when I was 11 and my father just over a year later.
We have a centrally planned economy now. It's just not oriented around any kind of broad social, national, or environmental priorities. It works to try and feed financial speculation and help some of the most obscenely wealthy people in history arrogate control of more resources.
Young men in their 30s don't hear this enough, but there'll be plenty of time later for a career and family. It's ok to be unemployed and playing video games all the time drinking beer. You're still just a kid
Even just ignoring the consumer aspect of it, this is terrible for movie preservation. In 50 years there's gonna be no way to watch this movie in the way it's been shot due to some short sighted exclusivity contracts made to drum up hype for a format that might not even survive
The CEO of Flock is named Garrett Langley and the founder of DeFlock is Will Freeman. Their lawsuit will be titled Langley vs. Freeman. What an incredible time to be mentally ill.
Because they have no interest whatsoever in politics or economics, elite liberal intellectuals like Appelbaum view things like “authoritarianism” or “populism” purely through psychological lens. This absolves them of any structural or material thinking about political phenomena.
