@jaffathecake But this is probably not a solution for your problem ;) Hope type inference will become even smarter in future. I even tried this:

type Y = any extends {
[prop: string]: infer U,
} ? {
[prop: string]: U,
} : never;

But this infers the property type as {} for some reason

@jaffathecake Hey @jaffathecake I couldn't get typescript to infer the type and apply it to other object properties, so far. But if you do have a 'whitelist' of types, you could do just this:

interface X<T> {
a: T
b: T
}

type Y = X<number> | X<string>

This way, a, b must be the same

@Coolblue_NL Snap ik @Coolblue_NL, is ook niet zo moeilijk als je al die restbedragen van iedereens cadeaubon jat, omdat het bedrag niet in delen uit te geven is. Ik sta versteld, hoe kun je zo achterlopen?

@Coolblue_NL Als ik de code van mijn cadeaukaart van €100,- invoer, dan krijg ik de melding dat de cadeaubon al eerder is ingewisseld. Ik heb er inderdaad al eerder iets van gekocht. Help! Ik zie ook nergens een saldo checker op jullie website
