Today’s alarming #JobsReport continues recent trends of a dramatically slowing economy – and Black women continue to bear the brunt of this economic slowdown 1/10
Let's be clear about what Republicans' Big, Ugly Budget really is: a betrayal of women and working Americans.
WATCH NOW as @SenAmyKlobuchar, @SenCortezMasto, @RepDebDingell, the @DemWomenCaucus and I expose the GOP’s attack on women and families.
We’ve already seen the heartbreaking consequences of delaying and denying necessary abortion care to patients – from health complications & fertility loss to needless deaths. Abortion is essential health care, and we must continue fighting to preserve access.
Though EMTALA is still the law of the land, eliminating this guidance will lead to even more chaos and confusion around when and whether providers can offer emergency abortion care to their patients.
Today, the Trump Administration rescinded guidance clarifying that hospitals are required to provide abortion care to pregnant patients experiencing medical emergencies despite any state abortion ban in place. This action puts people’s future fertility, health & lives at risk.
Our next #MedicaidMatters story is from our Director of Corporate Social Impact, Jesse Matton, about her sister TJ's experience with Medicaid as a full time, employed social worker. https://t.co/yoai0VYOi9
Once more unto the breach, dear friends. Although the headline numbers of +228K jobs and a steady unemployment rate at 4.2% might look good, the economic cracks are showing deeper in the data. (2/X)
Two days after President Trump’s “Liberation Day” imposed sweeping tariffs, perhaps designed by ChatGPT, on the American people, it’s another #JobsDay. With all of the economic noise over the past 74 days, it can be hard to keep track of what’s happening right now. (1/X)
I appear to live rent free in the minds of some of my Republican colleagues.
I wish that they would spend even a fraction of the time that they spend thinking about me, thinking about how to lower costs for American families.
March means #WomensHistoryMonth, though here at @NPWF we foreground women every month! Unfortunately as President Trump highlighted in Tuesday's #JointAddress, he is focused on performing for his base, rather than actually helping women thrive and get jobs. #JobsDay 1/10

We are proud to announce that with @MomsRising & @BlkMamasMatter we will be producing a nationwide initiative to hear directly from mothers about being pregnant, giving birth, and supporting themselves and their babies postpartum: Listening to Mothers IV. https://t.co/qVtjB3ZDkM
Another Friday #JobsDay over here! While some of today’s #JobsReport metrics were hampered by hurricanes, the unemployment survey shows a strong, stable economy for women. https://t.co/3XPEyFaBHN (1/11)
NEW POLL 🚨: Battleground support for paid leave has risen every year since 2022 — and now is at a record high 91%. This tracks across groups, from 95% of suburban women to 91% of non-college men voters. #PaidLeaveForAll
It’s another Friday #JobsDay, and women are holding strong! Unemployment rates remained stable or⬇️for women overall (3.7% ➡️3.6%), Black women (5.5% ➡️5.3%) Latinas (5.0% ➡️ 4.8%), Asian women (3.9% ➡️3.9%), and disabled women (9.0% ➡️7.5%) in September. (1/10)
Reproductive freedom and data privacy are inextricably linked. Given the heightened risks of surveillance looming over pregnant people post-Dobbs, it is imperative that both public and private actors take action. https://t.co/7FbAcc1Q0B
