@Press_Weekly They should of been doing that in the first half. New program or established, good or struggling it doesn't matter. A coach can pull back the reins and show the opponent a little respect by not trying to embarass them.

I can't imagine a single scenario where this type of score is acceptable. It was 19-0 at half. This is not the first time I've seen this from their program either.

@Press_Weekly I understand the situation, I just don't agree with letting a score get to that point. I'm happy to see that area of Southern Illinois getting more teams. The game continues to grow. Best of luck going forward.

My friend @materdeisoccer2 coach James Arnold has done a lot right but I think what he has done best is build a program not just a team. It's a close family like bond. It was clear as I saw a large amount of former players come out & support the team tonight in the sectional.

Lance Goebel's third goal of the season in the 2nd overtime session gives Mater Dei a 1-0 win over Columbia. Mater Dei will play Althoff for the title. Andrew Weir with his school record 14th shutout of the season. MD is 16-5-2. Columbia ends at 11-7-2.
