There’s a snag in the Luigi trial because the police might’ve messed up reading him his Miranda rights. It looks like they questioned him before informing him of his rights. Anything he said or did at McDonald’s before that—like a confession or hinting he’s the assassin—would likely get tossed out in court, especially if the cops asked questions first. It’s a big deal because any self admission is easy to convict in court, if it’s thrown out they’ll have to rely on making the other evidence 100% legit
