Lots of people tweeting that Crave has gone down in the middle of #HOTD โ Meanwhile, no response from @CraveCanada, which seems to be tweeting spoilers for the episode that is no longer livestreaming.

Scary that #Lastpass was #hacked and source code stolen. Now hackers have a leg up finding 0-day vulns in their code. This raises systemic risk for all of us. What products are affected? We need more details. #cybersecurity trends #databreach https://t.co/94jS4hJofg
THE PROBLEM WITH GOVT HACKING IS STUFF LIKE BREAKING ENCRYPTION AND NOT DISCLOSING ZERO-DAYS WEAKENS COMPUTER SECURITY FOR REGULAR PEOPLE AND LEGIT ORGS/COMPANIES BECAUSE COMPUTERS CAN'T TELL IF "GOOD GUYS" OR "BAD GUYS" ARE DOING THE HACKING IN FACT GOVT ORGS CAN BE VICTIMS OF
From now on, when someone asks me why their new/new-ish computer is running so slow, and I find that it was sold with a spinning hard drive, hamstringing the entire system, I am just going to flat out tell them that they were scammed by the system builder. Because it's the truth.
When @RogersHelps executive, Kye Prigg is prompted by @VassyKapelos on the Rogers-Shaw merger and the degree to which the telecoms industry is monopolized by private corporations in Canada, Rogers' lawyer steps in and abruptly ends the interview:
Right after I took this photo a Canpar driver tried in vain to get the enterphone to do something, anything. He had to walk back to his truck with the undelivered package.
Another side effect of the #RogersOutage: this buildingโs dead enterphone and the pile of non-delivery notices.
Between non-functioning enterphones and cellphones I bet carriers have a LOT of backed-up packages today.
I'm glad that the people who are using the #RogersOutage hashtag to tell people to "go unplug and read a book" haven't had to call 911 in a place where service isn't working, or get back into the country using ArriveCan, or remote work at a critical job, or pay using debit, or...
Ah yes. It's good to see them taking responsib... oh wait, my bad, this is from *checks notes* last year's #RogersOutage
Good news for Rogers is that they can just copy/paste the same response and then get on with that merger that will make all our lives better. ๐
