Think about it: modern technology, unprecedented access to information, and freedoms that allow us to chart our own paths. These are things most people in history couldn’t even imagine. If an elite of the Roman Empire were transported to today, they’d gladly trade their thrones for the technology and opportunities we often take for granted.

Regardless of the political climate, the real power lies in what we do with the freedom and resources we have. Each of us has the ability to turn opportunities into success and challenges into growth. The election may shape the macro environment, but it’s what we choose to do with our lives that defines the future. Focus on that power—and use it well.
