@robprogressive How is that any different that income tax? There should not be a special tax for LT cap gains. Everything should be the same. Then pressure the government to manage well and don’t waste resources so all taxes can be at or below LT cap gains rates.
Tom Brady says his doctor told him to cut the tendons in both legs. He refused, fixed it in 3 days with no surgery, and played till 45
“After the season, I tell the doctor, My groin’s just really sore all the time. Every time I move, I can feel it just grab”
“And the team doctor says, This is what we’re going to do. We’re going to do an adductor release, we’re going in there and cut the adductor tendon in your groin. We’re also going to cut the other side, so it never becomes a problem”
“And I was like, Okay, that sounds not like what I want to do”
“I called Alex when I left the office. I said, Alex, the doctor told me to do this adductor release. What do you think? He said, Absolutely not. Fly out to LA with me for 3 days and I’ll fix it”
“So I fly out there and worked the adductors, lengthened and softened both muscles, my hips, all my glutes, basically relieved the tension on the tendon. And 3 days later, no more pain”
“The doctor said there was a 99% chance he’d have to cut my adductor tendon at some point. And to this day, nothing”
When any other brand of car gets in a crash, the headline is “car crashes”
When the car is a Tesla, the headline says TESLA crash. Always.
Why does the brand that’s going the most to improve road safety get treated like they invented car crashes?
@GrindeOptions Will we have to read a post from you on that day asking us to explain to you like a 2 year old why SPCX is down on that day? 🤦🏼♂️ I had to stop following you because I was so tired of that post. Unfortunately some of your posts still show up 😵💫
@elonmusk@TheTeslaBull@kylaschwaberow I agree, but I always drive in Mad Max mode wherever I go. But I wish it would automatically switch to sloth mode in neighborhoods 100% of the time.
Tesla has just officially confirmed that the driver of the Model 3 that crashed into a home in Texas manually overrode the vehicle's self-driving system by pressing the accelerator pedal.
The vehicle struck the home at 73 mph. A lot of mainstream media wrongly mislead people into thinking that it was the vehicles fault.
Case closed.
Here is real-time video of the Tesla crashing into the house in Texas a couple nights ago. The car was absolutely FLYING.
Again, Tesla's vehicle logs will show whether any system was turned on or not, but neither Autopilot nor FSD operates at speeds like this in residential areas. https://t.co/tHbOSLwWef
It’s only possible due to the incredibly low supply. Sub 150 is likely to be achieved before the end of the year once all shares are unlocked. The interesting aspect is that Elon won’t sell his shares, which will keep the outstanding shares on the lower side. With his ownership at 42%, the float remains extremely low.
SpaceX (SPCX) employs a tiered and staggered lock-up schedule for private shareholders, insiders, employees, and early investors, rather than a single 180-day cliff. This approach aims to gradually release shares and mitigate selling pressure. https://t.co/QarcRojIel and https://t.co/OGCRPCCpeX provide further details on this strategy.
As of the IPO date of June 12, the vast majority of private and pre-IPO shares (approximately 95%) are restricted. Only a small initial float of around 4-5% were available for public trading at the launch.
Here’s a key unlock timeline for most private shareholders, including employees and early backers:
- First window (after Q2 2026 earnings, approximately late July to mid-August 2026): Up to 20% of eligible locked shares can be sold, with the first trading day following the earnings release.
- Performance trigger: An additional 10% (totaling 30%) can be unlocked if SPCX’s stock price consistently trades at least 30% above the $135 IPO price for a specified period (e.g., 5 out of 10 trading days) before the earnings release.
- Time-based tranches (regardless of price): Additional increments of approximately 7% will be unlocked at 70, 90, 105, 120, and 135 days post-IPO, roughly from late August to mid-November 2026.
- After Q3 2026 earnings (approximately late October to November 2026): Another 28% of shares will be unlocked.
- Full release for remaining shares: The remaining shares will be fully unlocked at 180 days post-IPO, which is scheduled for December 9, 2026.
Elon Musk and certain major investors are subject to a longer 366-day lock-up, with the unlock period extending until approximately June 2027. Additionally, Musk’s shares have some performance-based vesting elements.
Regarding a specific gain threshold for unlocking, there is a partial exception. The +10% performance-based bonus on the first tranche is contingent upon the stock price reaching approximately $175.50 (30% above the IPO price) for the required trading days. Other unlocks are primarily based on time and earnings performance, rather than solely on price-dependent factors. For more information, refer to https://t.co/slPOeMU0kZ.
