Mission: change the system, save the humans. Superpowers: carer of humans & dogs, doctor, change agent. Native state: fearlessly wearing crazy socks & many hats
@DGlaucomflecken We were having the exact same conversation last night but I just couldn’t remember what was smashed in the bucket (Aussie fail) thank you! Quintessential Collingwood. Go pies! And course wishing the best universal healthcare for Brayshaw. ❤️
@mindbodymiko If the cost of running the business increases…. What would other business owners need to do to fill this GAP? Increase revenue? Cut costs? What if revenue is fixed?
@mindbodymiko Agree. Can we please start articulating that if a practice exclusively bulk bills: the Medicare fee = SOLE revenue for the ENTIRE medical practice (not doctor) & needs to cover the ENTIRE costs of running the practice. A practice = a business.
A Monash study by @DrSleepPsych & @SleepPsych_Aus of more than 2000 people globally found that – during the pandemic – people who developed insomnia experienced more negative, anxious and death-related dreams, when finally asleep. Full story: https://t.co/0AWKRd6ZeM

The underlying principle of asking What Matters to You is - ask - listen - do what matters. It empowers the person who best knows what help or support they need. International #WMTY Day is this Thursday. Let's celebrate this person-centred care movement. @WmtyWorld
What’s so exhausting about health care reform. A SA premier goes for a night on a metro ambulance service to see what health care workers have been advising for years. He seemed surprised it was relentless but I’m sure no HCW is surprised. Good on him I guess but frustrating 1/2
Thanks to all my big-hearted, broken & kind colleagues who care for others & carry that burden.
I see you.
Thanks to everyone working towards transforming our system.
Collectively we can do this.
I might have pigs-can-fly socks but I know we can make change.

Depending on our lifestyles, waking up to morning daylight at the same time each day may help in regulating our body clock; by suppressing melatonin production to help wake us up. Melatonin is produced in dark conditions at night, to help us fall asleep more easily.#bettersleep
