Days after ICE murdered Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston, agents killed a young Colombian man in Biddeford. I’m heartbroken for their families — and I’m disgusted that this fascist agency is terrorizing our neighbors with impunity.
From Texas to Maine to New York: Abolish ICE.

For more than a year, I tried to tell anyone who would listen that Hickenlooper was the most beatable incumbent senator in America. I tried online & in countless conversations with local/national politicos.
I was laughed at & ignored by everyone — other than @SenadoraJulie, who belatedly decided to run. Her underfinanced campaign lost by a tiny margin. Had her candidacy been taken even mildly seriously by media or the national progressive movement, she woulda won by 10+ points.
This is not an “I told you so.” This is a reminder that there are huge political opportunities that media and political elites cannot — or do not want to - see. You just have to be looking for them — and they are often right in front of you in your own community.
A political reporter just admitted he skipped covering this primary seriously because he already decided who’d win.
“Viability” isn’t a fact reporters discover. It’s a decision they make, then enforce by starving everyone else of coverage and money until the guess comes true.
@KyleClark endorsements from reputable national, statewide & local orgs that brought time, volunteers and $$ to the campaign is a good indicator. I understand polling is typically the metric here, but it's too expensive for a campaign to expend that for uncertain returns.
One of the biggest shows of leadership that Julie employed was supporting down ballot races, she wasn't afraid to get into the fray. @SenadoraJulie ran one of the best people-powered campaigns we've ever seen in CO.
Colorado is lucky to have @SenadoraJulie. We almost elected the most progressive Senator in the country with almost no national support from progressive groups against the most well known politician in recent Co history. That’s a testament to her leadership. So proud to call her a friend and a mentor.
Our closing campaign message. When I'm Attorney General, I'll lead the fight to root out political corruption and corporate abuse, using the laws on the books with boldness and courage to do it. This fight isn't about the red team versus the blue team. It's about the many vs. the money. #insidertrading
🚨 We are suing the Trump Admin. for 50,000 TSA agents who kept us safe during the shutdown without pay—some given the number for food banks in case they couldn’t put food on the table. DHS can’t decide to pay ICE agents but refuse to pay TSA agents.
