Facts: I’m grateful we live in a country where maternity leave exists. HOWEVER: It’s disgusting how pathetic maternity leave pay is. If my boyfriend wasn’t in the picture, I’d be expected to live on 1200$ a month.

When Doug Ford says grocery store workers rolled up their sleeves, I agree, they did. They are heroes. They are also a badly exploited class of labour who we exposed to health risks because of the fragility of our system. This is nothing to boast about. It’s something to improve.
