After closing during COVID, the OT kitchen at @YSTeachingNHS is finally open again! This means that @YS_AHPs can accurately assess a patient's ability to engage in ADLs prior to discharge & can therefore potentially reduce the over prescription of care

Occupations are the things we do that are important to us. Occupational Therapists ensure we can do the things that make us live, not just survive. #OTweek23

Fab day at our Health and Justice Event showcasing prison, rehab and community services. Our Occupational Therapy stall highlighted how we support people to “do, be, become and belong” through OT and the importance of “occupationally just” environments to allow this to occur.
