Charters are public schools. They provide good options for some families. It doesn't cost money to attend. And their coaches are subject to the same recruiting rules as everyone else.
You're talking about limiting opportunities. For children.
@CoachSmith But kids from outside that zone can attend if they want, UNLESS yβall donβt let them in. Got it. So I think itβs time for you to get off twitter until you get a valid argument. Good luck. See you next year in region! π«‘
@CoachSmith And when you find the money weβre supposedly buying people with let me know. Cause right now Iβm elbow deep in fundraising just so our kids can have a pregame meal.
@CoachSmith Kids can choose to come to Landrum the same way they can choose to come to MVP. Hating MVP because they might choose us and not you says more about your lack of confidence in your own culture than it does about what weβre doing.
@CoachSmith You could very easily post to congratulate your signees and then put a plug in for people to come check the school out. Donβt try to con people or yourself into believing that we operate in athletics under some separate set of rules, because we donβt.
@CoachSmith Maybe your concern speaks more about your own culture than it does ours, considering the same rules that apply to your program apply to ours.
@CoachSmith Your post was about recruiting. Iβm simply letting you know that your school is allowed to post the same things we do to celebrate our student athletes and their accomplishments. So maybe the misrepresentation of whatβs happening is on you?
