It’s shocking that there are better transport links into the city centre from Wolverhampton and West Brom than from the residential areas of the city itself. Lack of reliable and affordable transport within the city has lead to the roads being constantly congested
Every resident of Birmingham should be backing this project.
For years our city has been overlooked, London gets 20 billion for crossrail they get 12 billion for the olympics when any infrastructure gets proposed it gets accepted.
Birmingham needs a massive infrastructure redevelopment, bordesley station needs to be rebuilt it needs 4 platforms, the metro extension needs to end at heartlands hospital atleast not outside digbeth coach station, a station needs to built on the camp hill line on garrison lane, adderley park needs to be bigger, metro line from rubery to the city centre needs to happen. A similar line needs to happen north side of the city aswell.
It’s about time we stop accepting a “that will do” attitude and start demanding better. With HS2 arriving this city will only get more appealing but infrastructure is a major part of that appeal
The boys should hold their heads up high. They gave us another tournament full of unforgettable moments. They’ve proven we can get to a final even when not playing our best game. We start building again in September 🏴 🦁 🦁 🦁 ⚽️
Bukayo Saka played at RW, RWB and LB for England at these Euros. He never complained. Played with a smile. Scored a stunner against Switzerland.
England's player of the tournament ❤️
