First time in Dubai, it feels like the hybrid of Singapore energy but with bad US urban planning.

It's probably what happens when a country wants to build instead of debating permits for 25 years like 🇫🇷.
The city seems organized into small areas, where inside the areas you can kind of walk around, but to go from one area to another is almost impossible without a car.
I am seriously impressed by the food and hotel quality. I expected Las Vegas level, but it was more on par with Japan. Way more expensive though.
If it weren't 45°C outside 4 months a year, I think I could take the leap and try to live there.

@TheGeorgePu I wouldn’t totally lean into that narrative. People from all works of life have been in the UAE and have made it, yes it isn’t easy but it’s not impossible
