@fuckyouiquit It eliminates food waste and helps people struggling in these crap times. Like most stores don’t even have a marked down/ day old section around here anymore. It all goes straight to FOODNET. Pretty awesome!
@fuckyouiquit Where I live there is a charity network dedicated 2 this issue; FOODNET. Most grocery stores & bakeries donate their dayolds/ questionable produce 2 this organization & an army of volunteers/ churches/ nonprofits distribute it 2 citizens daily. No income questions asked.
@Morna33@RonFilipkowski Actually some Walmarts have a limited amount in the condoms sections, varies by state. This started in the mid to late 2000’s with “Cock rings” & bullet vibrators from Trojan and other Condom manufacturers. They slowly added a small assortment of vibes/ etc (I worked there.)
@RonFilipkowski The pic she posted is obviously fake. Any real Walmart would have those vibrators in at LEAST spider wraps (electronic security devices). Otherwise they’d fly off the shelves, five finger discount style!!! ~someone who has worked in retail/ sales
@AleaKootz Like really trying. If you need someone to have a come to Jesus with your relatives I can do it!!!! Otherwise, I’m 100% willing to be a older sis/ auntie figure to you!!!!
@AleaKootz You need to get with it. If you don’t you likely won’t see your grandchild, or Christy, or the other too. The thing about my Dad is he’s a minister and has some old school beliefs and says stupid shit… but he loves his grand kids more than anything. So now he’s trying.
@AleaKootz He was asking inappropriate questions about surgeries and making inappropriate jokes about puberty and my nephew’s body. Finally I was like Dad, you need to stop. Your daughter, Christy and her boyfriend Kyle are being supportive of your grandchild. That is the gameplan.
@AleaKootz So I mean I still trip up and misgender him, I’ve said his dead name in conversation (luckily not to his face). My Dad was horrible at first but I sat him down and read him the riot act.
@AleaKootz I’ve known him by his dead name and previous gender since my sis started dating his dad like 8 years ago… but we knew his dad since my senior year of high school (20 years ago) so I mean off and on I’ve know him his whole life, but he became a part of our family in the last 8.
@AleaKootz I just can’t with that text! It makes me so angry for you! My nephew is trans. He just came out as trans this year. I’m a LGBTQ affirming therapist, so I have some knowledge in this area. However, I’m not gonna lie it’s been rough in a lot of ways.
@AleaKootz be to help in providing the trans community with needed services to move however far they wish in their transition journey. Therefore, it may be a necessary evil until smarter people than me can come up with a better solution. BUT, we must find a better solution!!!
@AleaKootz I’m a therapist (trained as a psychologist) I hate the current use of gender dysphoria as a disorder and treating trans individuals as being disordered. I think it does a disservice to your community, and it adds to the stigma. However, I’m not sure what a better option would
@TheMelMcClell@SheRatesDogs It’s never about the killing with these guys, it’s about power, the kink, getting off, etc. Like with rape it’s never about sex it’s about power. Doesn’t make what he did any less wrong. Looking at this is more about understanding how he’s broken and how to fix him.
@ohmyyemilyy@Iamnotabanana92 @mmm_cereal @SheRatesDogs OMG I want to breakup with CVS like every other day b/c how bad they suck. Bt I chicken out b/c they are the only 24 hr pharmacy in my city. Bt I keep my options open by filling a few prescriptions at Walgreens, just so CVS knows I don’t NEED them and could leave at anytime.

@_mattyjoe@fuckyouiquit In NE high school students are required to take a course (called career development in the early 2000’s) where they teach you basic job obtaining / life skills like; filling out applications, interviewing, and balancing a checkbook. 1/2
