⚠️ TADC Finale thoughts👇 ⚠️

I really, really liked The Amazing Digital Circus finale. ❤️🤍 Melancholy but that was to be expected; a cheerful ending would'nt have fit. I'm not a crier at movies but I teared up a couple times, ngl. This isn't even my movie/show/IP but I'm proud of Goose and Glitch, making a scary, funny, epic, heartwarming, pensive movie purely from the heart and vision of someone who had something to say. The voice cast and animators were also spectacular.

It's so invigorating to see people in theaters caring about real art! (especially animation💝) I don't even like going to the theater when there's going to be other people in the auditorium but I buckled in bc I wanted to see this in big theater sound&picture and I'm so glad I did.

Feeling kinda sad but also happy and peaceful.

Another nice thing: I didn't have to sit through 30 minutes of trailers and commercials before the movie started!

Only 1 trailer, for Wild Woods (which I also NEED to see in the theater in Oct!!) All hail Fathom Events for distributing some good food! 🥂

@ponfabulous1 in order to simplify things for the customer, i include this in the base price already. Having to pay fees is what helps me determine my comm pricing in the first place.
(Fees like this is one of the reasons why commissions can't be cheap)

if you're talking about $30USD that's WAAAAAY too low for a piece of this quality (especially since it's in color and has 2 characters in it.) I recommend charging at least $60 for this type of comm.

not getting a lot of commissions isn't an indicator that your prices are too high. If you're not yet well known or ppl don't have money for a luxury like custom art, that could be part of the reasons. If you need consistent living expense money you should look for 9to5 work or doordash gigs etc, not lower your commission prices since lower prices don't guarantee more commissions and the ones you do get at those lower prices will be overworking you for not enough money.
