Powered by Rolls‑Royce Pearl 10X engines, Dassault Aviation's all-new Falcon 10X successfully completed its maiden flight, registering a major milestone of the program and marking the launch of the flight test campaign.

- The pilots assessed the aircraft's maneuverability and systems at 5,000 meters altitude, then retracted the landing gear and moving surfaces before climbing to 12,000 meters, where they accelerated to Mach 0.82.

- Pearl 10X features the Advance2 engine core with a superior thrust of more than 18,000lbf.

- The engine also features a new ultra-low emissions ALM combustor, which is compatible with 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

- The flight took off from Dassault’s Mérignac facility near Bordeaux, France, marking the start of the aircraft’s flight test programme and another major step towards entry into service.

The Gulfstream G700 and G800 havent even been certified by FAA in regard to fuel icing. They were given temporary exemption by FAA in 2024 and required to demonstrate compliance by end 2026.
Fuel icing is obviously a far more critical issue in Canada than in US. Trump falsely claimed that these models had been fully certified but they aren't. It is ludicrous that Trump retaliates against properly certified Canadian aircraft on behalf of US models that haven't been fully certified even in US.
