I took a loss in $BA today and a paper cut in $MSTX, which I shorted again a little later and worked out. I'm practicing waiting for an impulsive move and a pullback into the area it moved from. Then entering and targeting the previous high or low from that move...

In 2025:
I will find support for how to find the names for my setup.

Journal more thoroughly.

Make my system more hands off.

Expand my tribe.

Slowly increase my risk.

Learn more about and try building an algo.

I leaned into learning to write my own hotkey scripts to decrease the cognitive load for execution and trade management.

I kept a journal, but it's an area where I'll improve.

I had a small tribe. We kept each other accountable.

I just ended my first green year trading. Small and insignificant amount, but notably, green.

This year, I focused on adopting a broadly used system that already clicked with my mindset and made it a mission to learn everything about it. I then made it my own. 1/x

@OddStockTrader Yes, it is. Great documentary on Netflix about it right now. I grew up overseas and never had the gut issues there as I do now. Even when I go back, symptoms subside and it's easier to find foods that agree with my gut.

@drockthederek @drockthederek what makes you go long on these versus having a short bias? I see the pattern, stock gops down prior day, 2nd day no continuation.
