In 100 patients with #SLE and 180 serositis episodes:
✅ 87.1% responded to initial anti-inflammatory therapy
✅ Response was similar with corticosteroid-based vs aspirin/colchicine regimens
✅ 46% experienced ≥1 relapse
✅ Initial corticosteroid use did not increase relapse risk
✅ Belimumab was associated with lower relapse risk
HR 0.34, 95% CI 0.14 to 0.84

Aspirin/colchicine and belimumab deserve further evaluation in tailored strategies.

In this 10-year cohort of 110 patients:
✅ MAS occurred in 36.7%
✅ Nearly half of MAS cases occurred at disease onset
✅ ILD occurred in 8.2%
✅ MAS and ILD frequently co-occurred
✅ Serositis at diagnosis was associated with later MAS
✅ Rash, higher ESR and older onset predicted a polycyclic course

This study developed and validated a landmark-based US protocol for thoracolumbar ligaments:
✅ Lateral costotransverse ligament
✅ Supraspinous ligament
✅ Iliolumbar ligament

In healthy controls, visualisation was feasible and reliability was moderate to high.
In patients with SpA, US detected inflammatory and structural entheseal lesions.
