@DawieScholtz Ok so for the dumb guy at the back of the room who is interested but has no actual clue what this means, can you please give us the dummy’s guide 😁
@PhumzaHer@destinyzee I agree with you, I see it too from my side of the fence, but I try not to judge reality by social media. Yes, there are assholes out there, but mostly, WE as South Africans are not THAT. We give a shit about each other. Not through a lens, but at reality level, we care.
@PsNengovhela@destinyzee Too true. We South Africans spend so much time fighting narrative. But for the most part, literally so of us are just trying to get by. I am not perfect, but I don’t hate, and I definitely don’t hate because of color. I don’t care who the winners are as long as they are winning
@BafanaSurprise You help destroy a man’s reputation, destroy his livelihood, destroy the school that was educating learners and you are “disappointed with yourself”? That seems a little weak.
@Umkomanisi@kmosebetsi@william_gumede Ok so in that case…loans that are injected into and economy and used correctly to build and rebuild infrastructure to help the local economy grow and businesses continue to operate and hospitals to work are a bad thing? Obviously the operative phrase being “used correctly”
@kmosebetsi@william_gumede No but that’s the thing. It shouldn’t matter where the investment goes. Investment in alternative energy doesn’t say close mines fossil plants. It says add on & build. SA has a power deficit, so add. Alt energy is the future, invest & embrace the future. Not either or can be AND
@Lynette_SA Not me. Definitely NOT me. We are all a team. From all of us who work together to all of our clients that trust us. Also….too dumb to quit and too stubborn to work for someone 😁 SA is an amazing country and the people who aren’t sowing discontent are amazing.
@Lynette_SA Couple side notes….our business directly feeds 17 families, indirectly, many more. But it is lonely…and it is good and bad. If you ever need someone to just chat to and get an outside view, you are always welcome to message me.
@Lynette_SA I’ve been self employed for 27 years. I’ve built and lost companies. I have been successful and unsuccessful. I still have the stress, all the time….could I foresee swapping it for anything else? Not a chance. It’s not easy and it’s not for everyone, but couldn’t see another way
@ThuliMadonsela3 I do love how eloquently you flip flop between “get out of my country” to “considered opinions” all neatly wrapped in a thin veil of populism. I do remember when you used to stand for principles. I met you and worked with you and discussed abuses of power with you.
@GodPenuel You are completely negating that there are some truly successful black South Africans. This shouldn’t be about punishing one or the other. It should be about growing economies. No matter how you cut it, business creates jobs and jobs feed families. So, better to build than break?
Some 13% of all the land in South Africa is held by tribal authorities. About 17 million people or a third of the population reside on these communal lands. Allocating title deeds would turn impoverished rural dwellers into property owners. https://t.co/ouj5alnR5q
